Aavaham Telugu Cinema Review
 The Film:
Aavaham is a sequel to Ram Gopal Varma’s film raksha. The original film was more humorous than an awe inspiring horror. The sequel is just a goring bloody tale with body parts flying in all directions.
The Synopsis:
Those who have not seen raksha will have some confusion in following this sequel. Anyway, Aavaham narrates the story of Rajeev who relocates into a big house along with his wife Aarti , daughter Raksha, young son and servant. The children explore the surroundings of their new home and come across a doll and they bring the doll home. From then on queer and inexplicable things happen. Rajeev realizes that certain odd things are taking place and what he does to set things right forms the rest of the story.
The Performances:
Sudeep is the only talent who will definitely make it big in the world of cinema. Amruta is very convincing. All others try to perform but fade away because of weak characterization.
The Techniques
The horror genre of films does not succeed because of camera angles. This film has logic and an in-depth research on ESP and paranormal activity. Phoonk 2 is just a waste of valuable resources including time if you watch it. The music and sound recording does not add to the narration values. Cinematography by Charles Meher is only the saving grace.
The Judgement:
Its Better to have an appointment with the ghost or devil instead of watching Aavaham.
