President Rule in Andhra Pradesh after 41 years

After bifurcation of the Andhra Pradesh state, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy resignation to CM post as well as congress party, where as congress high command not mentioned anybody name for the AP CM post.
Mean while elections are in nearing, so congress think that this is not right time to announce new name for the AP CM post, so they decided to go for a President rule in the state.
After 41 years this is the first time president rule is about to come into effect for the state of Andhra Pradesh, which means all powers will be in the hands of AP Governor.
Regarding this matter ministers had a meeting in the presence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, in which they presented this matter as table item and after discussions cabinet have given approval of President rule in the Andhra Pradesh.
